What is supplier due diligence software?

Supplier due diligence software checks the companies you buy from against official registers, at onboarding and continuously afterwards, so you learn about insolvency, sanctions exposure or compliance problems from the register rather than from a missed delivery. Supplio's Supplier Watch does this automatically for every supplier with a linked Companies House number, surfacing changes as findings you review in a queue.

Can Supplio monitor my suppliers at Companies House?

Yes. Supplier Watch checks every linked supplier against Companies House daily: company status changes such as liquidation or administration, overdue accounts and confirmation statements, director changes and disqualifications, and new charges registered against the company. Each change becomes a finding with a severity, and you can open the supplier record straight from it.

Why does Supplio watch The Gazette as well as Companies House?

Winding-up petitions and other insolvency notices are published in The Gazette before the company's status changes at Companies House, sometimes weeks before. Watching both means you get the earliest official signal that a supplier is in financial trouble, while there is still time to react.

Does Supplio screen suppliers against the UK sanctions list?

Yes. Supplier names are screened against the UK Sanctions List published by the FCDO using fuzzy name matching with configurable sensitivity. Because name screening can produce false positives, a sanctions match is never asserted automatically: it lands as a finding for a human to confirm or dismiss.

How often are suppliers checked?

Every 24 hours by default, and you can adjust the re-check interval in settings. Each data source can be toggled independently, so a food manufacturer can enable FSA hygiene and recall monitoring while a distributor sticks to the corporate registers.

Which plans include Supplier Watch?

Every Supplio plan includes Supplier Watch at launch, from Starter at £599/year upwards. There are no per-check or per-supplier screening fees.

Does it work for overseas suppliers?

Companies House, The Gazette and the FSA are UK registers, so register monitoring applies to UK-registered suppliers with a company number. Sanctions screening is name-based and applies to every supplier regardless of country. For overseas entities you can still track documents, insurance, risks and scores in Supplio as normal.
